Does anybody know of a good HD camcorder $400 or under?

A. the JVC Everio camcorder is an excellant camcorder that takes very good, high-quality videos. Plus it's picture mode is amazing. I use it all the time for photo shoots. Especially at my brothers hockey and soccer games, it captures action shots GREAT! All you do is take maybe and hour and a half to charge it by plugging the AC cable in the wall to the back of the camcorder. And to upload, you have a USB cable which connects to your computer, to the front of the camcorder and pictures download quickly. For videos, it comes with a fantastic free program called PowerDirector which is simular to Windows Movie Maker but has a lot more effects which can be added! You must upload your video to this program anyway if your would like to upload it onto a site (e.g. Youtube, Facebook) to turn it into a MPEG file.
Check out Future Shop or Best Buy for your best deal. Both stores should have the camcorder included with a battery, an AC cable, an AV cable, USB cable, a shoulder strap, Remote Control and all software devices included. Check it out!

Camcorder in $350-400 range?

Q. I am looking for a good camcorder for around $350-400. I would prefer a flash based or HDD memory. For me, video quality is key, I would really like a High Definition one, but really high standard definition might have to suffice for my price range. I am going to actually be shooting a real movie. Ive got some of the most professional editing software, boom mics, ect... I just need a great camera to match. Like I said, 400 bucks is my max.

What camcorder should I buy (and where should I buy it)?

Q. I want to buy a camcorder, $400-$800, and the most important features are quality and light-weight. It's primarily for filming my family. What is the best camera that is 1920x1080p?

Q. I was trying to look for a full HD camera that is 1920x1080p. Does anyone know the best camcorder between $400 and $800 dollers. I am also looking for one that is good for filming fast moving things ( roller coasters). Can anyone give me some suggestions?

A. If you want a good answer, answer this question again under the camcorders category. It will be tough finding it in your price range, but I would personally love to have a Casio EXILIM Pro EX-F1. It shoots 1920 x 1080 at 60 fields per second, but it can do lower resolutions at higher framerates. For example, it will shoot 512 × 384 at 300 frames per second. That would be perfect for a roller coaster video.
