8mm camcorder is there a company that can turn it into still photos?

Q. I Have a JVC that can convert my 8mm camcorder that into DVD.There are minute long pieces that I would like to get still photos from is there a company that can do this for me.If know link please help.

A. Walgreen's used to have such a service. Check with them. There are also stores that do nothing but conversions from video to still, 8 mm to video and other conversions. There is one just two miles from my home

Many of the programs that burn DVD's from compiled video can also do what is called "screen capture" and then using that generated JPEG file, print your own.

How do I watch 8mm camcorder tapes without the camcorder?
Q. I found about 5 full length tapes that were from my high school years - And I'm dying to watch them(been extra nostalgic lately) - Is there any way to play them without an 8mm camcorder?

A. there are four ways

1 Buy an old camcorder to watch them.
2 Borrow an old camcorder
3 But a player but its going to cost a lot more than an old camcorder.
4 Send the tapes off to a company to get them put onto DVD for you its not expensive about $8-10 ish per tape, (maybe about the same in Pounds UK) then you can watch them as often as you get nostalgic

Good luck

Happy memories
