How do I connect my camcorder to my computer?

Q. I have a RCA CC6272 camcorder w/audio and video jacks. I'm trying to connect it to my computer through a eGforce 7900 GS video card. The card came with a cable that connects to the s-video jack on the card and has 4 connectors coming off of it, one's another s-video jack, and 3 are labeled "PT OUT"(red), "Y (or "V") OUT"(green) and "Pb/COM OUT"(blue). Do any of these connect to my camcorders video and audio jacks and if so, which ones? Then how do I get my computer to recognize that the camcorder is connected? I have Windows Movie Maker installed and was hoping to make my home movies into DVDs. Any help is appreciated.

A. You want to connect a cams output to the video cards output? Yeah, that should work.

What is a good camcorder to use for recording myself and my friends?
Q. I'm looking for a good, inexpensive camcorder with good audio and video quality to record things my friends and I do (to capture all the once-in-a-lifetime moments). I don't really have a set budget but I'd like to avoid paying over $1000 because that would take a lot of time and money-saving.

A. cellphone or dlsr camera! that's great!
