Samsung camcorder videos are in MP4 format. Is there software available to get these burned to a DVD?

Q. I don't use facebook, flicker or u-tube so I would like to get videos from camcorder to DVD so I can share them with family. Samsung compresses these to MP4 format. Is there software available to do this or am I just sol.

A. Well, the answer is definitely Yes. To get your Samsung MP4 videos onto a DVD, you will need a DVD burning software to do the job. Since MP4 is quite a popular video format, I guess most DVD burning software will be able to work with MP4 videos. Anyway, I use a DVD Creator which is very easy to burn MP4 videos to DVD disc. And it works great. Then I can share my videos with my family members and friends through DVD player connected to TV. Why not give it a try. Right, you may download the tool at: http://www.video-dvd-converter.net/dvd-creator/index.html

Best of luck.

Is there a free way to copy MOD video files to a dvd disk?
Q. If I would have known that it was a hastle to copy home movies from my canon fs-10 camcorder to dvd I would have purchased something else. I am trying to transfer some MOD video files from my computer to DVD and you cant seem to do it without some type of software. Do any of you know any freeware that lets you do it or do you have to pay for all of them?

A. Aunsoft Final Mate, a great and useful camcorder assistant software, has everything needed to directly capture/backup AVCHD (*.mts, *.m2ts), AVCHD Lite, AVCCAM, NXCAM, TOD, MOD recordings from Hard Disk Drive/SD Card Camcorders to PC, to import, edit and create spectacular movies on a timeline. It is also powerful enough to play/convert native 1080 60p/50p footages and Dolby Digital 5.1 surround.

Powerful timeline-oriented editing features like split/trim video, splice clips, crop, do color correction, deinterlacing, replace audio, adjust volume, etc help you create satisfied film results. Merge/combine native/raw avchd (*.mts, *.m2ts), AVCHD Lite, TOD into only one file without re-encoding or loss of any quality. Then just have a seamless streaming of video files via media players, NAS drive at home.

Export/convert edited camcorder video to other editors (Sony Vegas, Adobe Premiere, WMM, Pinnacle Studio, etc), media devices (iPad, iPhone4, droid x, nokia n8, galaxy s, hdtv, projector, etc), or common formats (mov, avi, wmv, mp4, mpg, mpeg-2, etc) with the high quality and least amount of clicks. Ultra extreme performance with support for NVIDIA® CUDATM and Intel while encoding.
