Should I upgrade to the xbox 360 slim? or should a buy a 3ds instead?

Q. I already have the xbox 360 arcade system and I never brought a hard drive for it and the slim model does look good. I also like portable gaming and I'm in college and can play the 3ds in between my classes. I was also thinking about the ps3 but for $250 that is to much! And I could just buy a blu-ray player if I really want which at the moment I don't so any advice is good advice so thanks :)

A. The X Box 720 is coming out in 2013.

So You shouldn't get another X Box until 2013.

So You should get the 3DS

Because you can play music (even with the system close)

You can LOWER the VOLUME of 3D

You can also turn the 3D OFF Completely
