Q. i tried everything.. going to every menu setting.. but there is no application for a nightmode setting .. id ont think.. i need to film my new puppy sleeping in night mode for a documentary and i cant figure this out!! the camera is a small samsung digital camcorder .. please help!
A. Not all cameras have "night vision" if there is no switch or setting then it probably doesn't have it.
Leave a light on your puppy will still sleep, and do it that way, when my dog was a puppy the house could fall down and she would still sleep, Puppies seem to turn everything off when they are asleep

How can you shoot ir night vision with a dv camera that does not have a night mode?
Q. The digital video camera picks up infrared lights, like you can see the ir light from a remote control. But the dv camera does not a night vision mode. How can I add night vision to see ir (the invisible light)?
A. You can try adding an IR emitter...
