Problem with Android Camcorder please help?

Q. I have a question. Why is it when i want to record a video using the built-in camcorder app it only records up to 37:48?

A. because that is the size of your internal memory. 37 minutes of video will chew through several GB of memory space.

How do you download videos that are on a JVC camcorder tape to your computer?
Q. I connected the camcorder to my Hp but it doesn't give me any options to download the tape to the computer. I already downloaded the CD that came with the camcorder "digital photo navigator 1.5" but again it doesn't give me any option.

A. i just guessed that your JVC vcam is a miniDV type, if so...
a miniDV vcam must be DV~Firewire400**-connected to pc to upload video thru video capture or video editing* application while vcam is ON PLAYBACK. Before cable purchase** check PC for DV port {VCAM@4pin=>firewireCABLE=>PC@4/ 6pin?}. If none, install firewire card: pci for desktop or pcmcia / express for laptop.
