What is the best camcorder for live streaming?

Q. I am going to be live streaming local sporting events on my website and need to know which camera is the best to handle that? Also any advice on the best streaming site or software to use for it would be greatly appreciated.

A. The Sony HDR-AX2000 Handycam camcorderhas been amazing. The picture quality is outstanding, the 20x zoom is really nice to have and the tapeless format comes in handy. I use Premiere Pro for editing and haven't had any problems with file sizes or any file related troubles. Using a your own shotgun microphone will greatly enhance the audio for your projects. It shoots pretty good in low light also. Not bad for this price range.

How do I connect my camcorder to my laptop to view live streaming images?
Q. I have a Panasonic hard drive camcorder model SDR-H18. I want to connect it to my laptop and view live streaming. How do I do this? It comes with a usb cable and an av cable. Thanks
I am running Windows 7 64bit Home editino on my laptop.

A. Do you mean you want to use the cam as a super WEBCAM so you can see what the camera see? I am afraid this is extremely difficult. Because in order to do so, you need a firewire interface that comes with the camera. Your camera doesn't have this function, so you can only do it with AV cable. Which means you will need an analoge capture device, and the image quality will drop hard. If you don't mind the low res, then go for it. Buy a analoge to USB cable which comes with a free software (usually). It range from 45$ to 140$, depending on the brands.
