Q. im looking to buy a camcorder to take home movies of friends and family.I would also ned to know how to transfer it to a DVD so others can view it as we pass it around the family. The easier to transfer the better.

Why do lines appear on tvs in home movies?
Q. If you are recording a home movie on a camcorder and a tv is in the background, why do lines appear across the screen. Is it possible to fix this.
A. i think it has something to do with the frame rate of the recording device and the frame rate of the TV screen. If they're not synced up perfectly, that's probably what will cause the interference.
