There is a HD camcorder with audio inputs?

Q. Im looking for a HD camcorder with audio inputs, so I can plug a mic or any other audio devices, price range around 200 to 500, any options out there?

A. A Canon VIXIA HF200 is an 1080p HD video camera with a 3.5mm audio input. I really like it and it's on sale on Amazon this week. Check it out: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001OI2Z2I?ie=UTF8&tag=thebubrocpro-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B001OI2Z2I

Can I buy a cable that will go from my analog camcorder to my firewire port on my computer?
Q. I have an analog camcorder and would like to convert those tapes to DVD. The only outputs on my camcorder are: audio and video, and RFU DC Out. Is there an adapter or something that I can buy that will go from my camcorder to my computer so that I can convert my tapes to DVD. I have S-Video and Firewire connections on my computer. I know that I can buy converter boxes that are $100 or more. What I'm looking for is a cable or some kind of cable adapter. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A. The easiest way to convert your tapes to DVD is with a DVD recorder. You can then transfer from the DVD to your computer using your computer's DVD drive. The DVD recorder converts the analog signal from your camcorder to digital and records the digital information onto a DVD. You connect the audio and video from your camcorder to a line-in input on the DVD recorder.
