A. You can change the video format by following these steps: First, make sure that "Simple Mode" is turned off. Turn the Mode dial to the camera icon and press Menu. Select the File Format Icon (MOV) and press the center navigation control button. You may then highlight MOV or AVI. Since the camcorder has a touch screen, some selections can be made via that mode. What Camcorder works well with Sony Vegas 9?
Q. I want to buy a camcorder and I have Sony Vegas. So, can anyone tell me if they own a camcorder which its format works with Vegas 9? My old camcorders Video format didn't work with Vegas it only showed the audio when I dragged it onto the timeline.(I sold it so don't reply about how to fix the problem)
A. I use the Canon FS100 and it works great! It's also available for quite cheap now, around £140 in the UK- It exports it onto a .MOD format on an SD Card- and people often moan about the format saying you can't use it, but it works with Sony Vegas and can be easily converted for other software
