A. There is no app available that can be downloaded and change the hardware in your phone, because that is what it has to do to improve either the video or audio qualities of your phone. If you want better video quality, use a camcorder, not a damn phone to shoot videos.

Q. also is there anyway to zoom with the camera. I just got the iphone and its totally new to me. I love it so far but I was suprised it didn't do video. Now i kinda wish i spent a little more and got the 3gs but o well. thanks for any help!
A. There are no apps out there to turn a basic camera into a camcorder... Its hardware updates that make this possible...
You can try replaycam.. it will take several pictures in a row that will kind of look like a video. Best I could find for the Iphone 3G.
