What do you/I buy for a guy friends 18th?
Q. One of my close friends is having his 18th soon and im so stuck on what to buy! I know he will be happy with anything he gets but i want it to be something he can remember or something tht will be used more than once...Please help! x
A. Well concentrate on things he loves to do (hobbies, etc)
Maybe he has a car. Get him some things that will take care of it... such as wax, washing liquid, shammys. Or something like a plate for the front of his car with a protective thing over it. Maybe some covers for his seat and steering wheel and a keychain.
Sports guys: if he plays a sport get him a piece of equipment that you know he will use. If he's big into watching a certain sport get him a hat with the team logo, a rug, etc.
He will be going to college soon right? Get him something YOU KNOW he will use. Get him a chair to put in the commons area. Some decorations for his new school. Get together with some of his other friends and get him something big like a fridge, or a microwave. Perhaps get him some decorations some things that would help him stay organized when he goes away like a Pencil stand that holds pencils, rulers, scissors etc. He's goin to need cleaning supplies and something to carry his laundry in. Maybe get him a travel bag to put his stuff in. Or a digital photoframe to put pics from his birthday and other days (get a camera and make sure you take pics at his birthday!!)
If he's a techno dude get him Sunglasses with UV Polarizing lenses and Integrated MP3 Music Player( http://www.techgiftsdirect.com/product_p/sun-01.htm )., a camera, or a music recorder thing, or camcorder.
If he likes to read then get him some books, a light to attach to his books in the dark, maybe a bookmark as well.
If he likes to write get him a special notebook and pen. Get a book to help him with ideas and exercises for his skills.
