Q. I am looking for a dvd camcorder online because they are too expensive in stores. I would like a Sony, Panasonic, or Canon one but Ill take whatever works nicely. I cant seem to find one on ebay or Amazon thats in my price range or working. The ones on ebay get up to $300.

There is no such thing as a "good" consumer grade DVD camcorder.
Please adjust your requirements - miniDV tape has best available video quality but your computer requires a firewire port. Flash memory and hard disc drive use USB to transfer the files but you usually need to convert them to a file format your computer can deal with if you want to do any editing.
Consumer DVD based camcorder barely make useful doorstops.

What is a nice inexpensive camcorder for a 13 yr old girl, who wants to record herself and post it on u tube?
Q. My 13 wants a camcorder for Christmas so she can post things on youtube. I have looked at the flip camcorder and the RCA Small Wonder but unsure which one is the better quality for the price or are there any other ones that are similar to these tow. Pls help time is running out.
