Q. I have a Gigaware 5-Megapixel HD 1080p Camcorder with 3.0" Touchscreen which is supposed to have a webcam option. I installed the driver CD that came with it and every time I try to launch the webcam option it says it is not connected or is being used. Anyone know how to get it working?
A. You need to check in the camera settings. There should be an option of when connected to computer you want to use it as USB Storage device or Web cam.
Or something like use as webcam..maybe you have to set it up...

how do i save a video to a file and shrink it?
Q. okay well i have a aiptek 1080p hd-dv camcorder and i'm trying to post my videos on youtube but they say in order to do that you need to save it to a file but when i do i open it and dont see my video i need HELP!!!!!!!!!please and also how do you shrink the video?
A. This depends on what program you are using to edit your raw video files to. The raw video is generally in .AVI format (or .MOV on a Mac). When you have completed editing, you choose what format and size you would like to save it to as a computer file. The higher the resolution the larger the file. Consider choosing a lower resolution so that your end file is less than 20-30 meg or so. The original raw video is measured in hundreds of megs and often even in Gig's of video, so a lot of compression must be used.
