Q. I have to be able to work in multiple programs simultaneously but that's my only requirement. I can keep from saving songs and photos. I don't play graphic intensive games. Occassionally I download and edit movies from my camcorder.

A. You could probably get away with the less expensive one. Try and find one that has some upgrade possibilities just in case you need to get more out of it later. Ask the sales rep if it has upgrade capabilities like PCI or PCI-E slots, total memory, expansion slots and bays.

Without knowing your Panasonic camcorder's model number, it is impossible to know for sure - but chances are about 99.999% that your Panasonic camcorder will not be able to see anything by darkness with a properly working infrared light source.
