Q. What is the best camcorder within 1000 dollars to film football with?
A. im not recommending a specific model but just general tips on what to get. if you want to edit and have slightly better picture quality, get a miniDV cam. if you just wanna record and watch, then go for miniDVD cams. if i were you, id get a miniDV cam for your purposes, cos you have more flexiblity with what you can do, and the extra time needed to burn to DVD is minimal.
when buying, a large optical zoom is great, but lesser optical zooms will work. ignore digital zoom. make sure the camera has a manual shutter control and white balance. manual focus and aperture are great, but not necessarily required, but when possible, look for all four.
you can get a 3ccd cam for under 1000 and they enhance your picture quality. also, look for optical stabilization. it will help, but is not essential. top loading cams are a plus, as you can load a tape in without taking it off the tripod.
when recording, bring a tripod if possible. the tripod can be used when you are moving to help stabilize shots also, (lengthen the legs and fold them together so its like a monopod, then hold it at the center and walk). get shots from different angles (when possible), it will make the video more interesting than just staring at one angle the whole time.

Q. One that is crystal clear and sharp. One that when you zoom, it's still clear. I want to upload good videos on youtube that looks good and clear.
Requirements:
Good quality > Good zoom > Clear > Good sound quality > etc.
